PRODUCT DETAILS

For those in search of a truly flat print surface, look no further than our 235x235mm Cast Aluminum Heated Bed for Ender 3 and Ender 5. CNC machined from 1/4" (6.5mm) thick ATP5 tooling plates, the flatness tolerances are superior to thin, cold rolled aluminum that comes stock on Creality 3D printers. Made in the USA.

Of course no heated bed is complete without a heat source. Choose between our standard 24V 250W silicone heater for a seamless, drop-in upgrade, or a high powered 110V 500W silicone heater for rapid warm-up times. Both options are made from high quality US silicone, include an industry standard 100K NTC3950 thermistor, and feature our integrated thermal protection switch configured to 150C. A preventative safety mechanism that prevents thermal runaway, shutting off power to the bed in the event of failure.

24V Silicone Heater

The perfect match for Creality's 24V electrical system, no additional parts needed. This plug and play solution is a direct upgrade for the Ender series, just swap out the cables with the original heated bed. 250W offers noticeably improved warm-up times and better heat distribution compared to stock. Recommended for most users.

    Completely Fixed!

Wow, what an absolutely stellar product. Super easy to install. Really high-quality machining, lovely cables, and the silicone heater is a game-changer.
Don't hesitate to try this out if your S1 bed crapped out like mine; this is a big step up from that. The price was super reasonable too!

    Great for sufferers of OCD!

Face it, modern ABL will easily manage a warped bed - within reason. My stock Creality bed varied by about 0.2mm but it still printed fine. I can level the cast bed, with a magnetic sheet, to 0.05mm! Still prints great and seems to keep the temperature stable due to it's extra mass. If bed weight is important to you, this might not be the best upgrade - it definitely weighs more than stock.

One tip: after applying the magnetic sheet, but before attaching the heater, I pressed the plate under a slab of marble with about 80 pounds of weight on it overnight. I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, but it seems to me that it would flatten-out and variation in the magnetic sheet or adhesive.

In short, I'm really pleased with the cast bed!

    Good stuff, troubles resolved.

The plate came with undersized holes but after emailing gulfcoast I received a reply the next day regarding it. After issues were resolved the plate came out to be easily leveled. I would definitely buy another one If I get another printer.

    Good heated bed

Lacked instructions. The magnet was larger than the heated bed and PEI sheet, which really irked me since I had lined two sides up PERFECTLY and pressed it... Only for the other two sides to hang off. I read through my instructions a few times and I don't recall it talking about deburring (as another review pointed out) but maybe I missed it looking for assembly guides; The items are a bit rough around the edges (literally) but otherwise it's fine.

Some pointers if you're doing this install looking for documentation (there's none but it's straight forward-ish):
    - When applying the magnet sheet, counter-sunk sides should face up. Set the magnet down on a table (counter-sunk sides facing down) and place the heated bed over it to see how much it overhangs BEFORE sticking the heated bed to it.
    - The 24v 250W heated bed... No grounded cable. Follow the wires closely from the existing bed to the printer's board. MAKE NOTE OF THE THERMISTOR / THERMOMETER'S CONNECTION because you will be unplugging this. (I forgot and yanked it out almost breaking that connector on the board... woops...)
    - Make sure the wheels / carriage don't bind with any plastic coverings on the printer post-installation

It's a great upgrade over the stock bed. I installed this on my Ender 3 S1, maybe will do it for my S1 Pro eventually. Would recommend, hopefully this review helps those trying to install it for the first time.
