This All Metal Hotend Conversion Kit is a drop-in upgrade for Creality 3D Printers, including the Ender 3, Ender 5 and CR-10.
As a direct replacement for the stock hardware, installation requires no additional parts or modifications to use. It bolts up to the original mounting plate, reusing the same heater cartridge and thermistor wiring for a quick 5 minute setup.
The improved aluminum cooling block design offers better heat dissipation, removing the need for PTFE lining inside of the thermal barrier tube.
Instead, a polished Titanium Alloy heatbreak is used to replace the traditional stainless steel, which has considerably lower thermal conductivity than its counterpart. This creates a sharply defined point of separation between hot and cold zones, minimizing the chance for heat creep and clogs.
0.4mm Brass nozzle is included as standard, ideal for basic materials. Hardened A2 Tool Steel is recommended for abrasive filaments such as wood, carbon fiber, glow in the dark and metal filled.

When I first ordered this hotend it was by mistake. I searched "microswiss hot end" and this popped up in the shopping section of Google. I was super sad when I realized I had ordered the wrong item. I expressed my concern to a Facebook group I am part of and many said they had ordered this piece and had good luck.
Boy were they right! I had such a fantastic experience with my new hot end I purchased a second and am taking delivery today!
I outfitted my hotend with a plated tool steel nozzle. I have printed PLA, ABS, carbon reinforced PLA and nylon. The hot end works great and prevents oozing and clogging issues. It stays super cool, bolts on easy.. everything I could have hoped for.
Let's call this experience a happy accident.
Thanks Gulfcoast Robotics for a great deal on an excellent product!
so mine came in three pieces a nozzle the hotend and a heatsink the throat was already installed on mine I put it together in a few minutes super simple and well made I would highly recommend this product and the shipping was beyond fast
when I installed the heating element I added (arctic silver 5) personal choice but helps with heating and holding temps
Have had my Ender 3 about 6 months, installed this hot end about 6 weeks ago. Before the hot end upgrade, i would get several jams in the hot end on every roll of filament, and the bowden tube would be discolored and very hard. Since replacing the hot end. I have run at least 3 KG's of filament and havens had a single problem, I just pulled the tube to check on it and it was nice and flexible (no signs of heating).
Installation is super easy, remove the fan shroud, and 2 screws removes the old hot end. and basically reverse to install. Re-level the bed (it is a few millimeters shorter than the Ender 3 stock hot end) Also the provided brass nozzle is well made and a cold pull shows its nicely made (no weird machining artifacts that cheep ones often have).
TLDR: Buy it, great product makes printer more reliable.
I had a small issue with this hotends, but the customer service that I received made up for it tenfold. It turned out I was just doing it wrong!
If you buy this hotend and install it correctly, it will perform amazingly. I have it on my Ender 3 and it prints beautifully at 270C with no clogging whatsoever. And you can be sure that if you have any issues with this product, or any other product, they will make sure you end up fully satisfied with your needs met. Shoutout to Brett.
I've ordered this to be a direct replacement for my stock hotend that comes with the Ender 3 Pro. I was having a lot of irregularities in how the filament was being extruded from the nozzle where it'd come out in odd angles and start curling up to the nozzle. This hotend upgrade fixed this issue immediately (used same nozzle).
Installation was very straightforward. I'd say the only thing I would've liked to see is screws to keep the hotend and heatsink aligned but that might cause issues with heat creep depending on time of usage and temperature. Since this is almost identical to the Micro Swiss and I don't own that hotend, I can't really compare the two. I am, however, very impressed with the quality of this hotend and especially the price! I'd say this is one of my favorite upgrades overall for my Ender 3 Pro so far.
